It is with my great honor to present this painting created especially for you. I look forward to perhaps impressing you one day and having the privilage meeting in person would certainly be part of a master plan that lies ahead for me.

Over the past two years I have spent considerable time in deep thought regarding your Virgin Earth Challenge. With the financial incentive on the table I just had to at least put forth a few ideas almost worthy of getting noticed, for I even imagined and designed a fleet of 20 jet powered CO2 filtered vacuum satellites that would be circling the earth’s atmosphere and an electromagnetic high-speed railway system that ran direct from west coast to east coast in America. Tackle this CO2 from all sides I said, like a general going into war. Forget about the money and remember the things that are more valuable. How simple… the answer was right in front of and all around me most everyday my entire life growing up in Oregon. Sometimes the most difficult problems and challenges in life can be addressed with the simplest of answers.

The Tree, for without it the human spieces would not exist on planet earth. Just as important as air, water, sun, and land. Nothing will ever beat what is natural no matter how technologically advanced our ideas of invention. The tree has been rooted on earth for over a million years before man and will be rooted a

million years there after. Instead of carbon credits I would rather see the world adopt a “Tree Credit” program that can be initiated and accepted world wide immediately with real action and measurable results that will be transparent on a global level for everyone to take note on and participate in. I could write a novel on all the benefits that trees offer planet earth and man, but prefer to simplify things without insulting your intelligence. Just know that within a single tree or combination there of possibly lies a cure for cancer.

“Tree Credits” are something people and big companies can get their arms around and can be tracked to know exactly where a company has paid to forest the lands recognized via Google Earth Maps. Watch your forest grow and be able to say at the end of the day … “I left my planet earth better than when I found it.” Encouraging everyone to take ownership of this great planet and the Virgin tree logo will be embraced and embedded within every company that cares.

Virgin Forests Forever …trees that live a thousand years. Wouldn’t that be a sight and master piece of art so many could put their names down in history to.

The real Earth Challenge is …how fast can we plant as many trees as humanly possible?
